There are custom Telegram apps out there. Perhaps ine does
that already.
I forgot about the other "alternates" out there. Perhaps there
is one that has a re-orientate feature. Or.. like I said,
perhaps someone using their app can chime in and let us know if
their version does that.
The app could also feature addons for taglines and other
features..
Maybe some of those custom bots could do that?
Ah yes! I forgot about the bots option. But I think they only
operate before and after the posts/editing, not during.
But maybe a bot can be triggered with custom in-line commands.
Eg. To add a random tagline use "--tt:r--" for a [r]andom one
from a user-defined or global database, or use the phone's
shortcuts to grab one from a file?
There are probably several possibilities.
Every time I type "bb" on my Blackberry, the system expands it
to "Blackberry". I haven't found out *where* I can configure
that or add new ones. :(
Traditional inter-message quoting could still be a
challenge..
I agree the quoting system leaves something to be desired.
Although I'm not sure what you mean about BBS Users not
cleaning up their quoting. With Mystic, at least, I have to
select the lines that I'm quoting as I go.
I have seen more and more users avoiding the inner-quoting for
messages like this. A new/young generation coming into this
echomail world probably wouldn't care anyway. Some things simply
need to be abandoned - perhaps. With the msgid/replyid in play,
exhausting re-editing of messages for the sake of replies is
technically not required anyway.
Now with HotdogEd, quotes could get messy...
I've seen that. :(
