From Rug Rat@1:135/250 to All on Thu Jun 25 22:33:00 2026
As I have been working over the past month to get USENET Newsgroups working on my BBS. I find it interesting and kind of cool that FTN networks seem to be more active than NEWSGROUPS.
Why do you think that is? One would think that it would be other way around since FTN is largely BBS centric, while Newsgroups by way of being available to anyone on the desktop should have a wider use/adoption.
I know central social media platforms have widely taken over both networks, but you would still think the wider niche use should still be the more open platform.
