Strike at Mallorca airport

Holidaymakers should expect work stoppages at Mallorca Airport.
According to local media, ground staff plan to hold work-to-rule actions in late July and early August, which will affect air traffic.
Strikes will take place on July 28 and on August 1, 4, and 8 between 07:00 and 12:00 and between 19:00 and 22:00. The ground staff aims to force better working conditions through these actions.
According to the airport, the consequences will be limited. No cancellations are expected, but flights may be delayed because baggage is not being loaded and unloaded as quickly as normal. As a result, waiting times at the baggage claim areas are also expected to increase.
