    I have a Dell XPS13 9315 laptop with up to date Mageia 10. Unfortunately
    It was working fine, until suddenly it displayed only about 10% of the
    Desktop. Moving the mouse arrow scrolled (hor and vert) that tiny
    window. By tiny window I mean a display which took up the whole of the 1920x1200 screen but only displayed (greatly magnified) about 10% of the screen. I managed to get the Display Configuration (right click) and
    tried to move the Scale but at 50% it displayed the above 10% and going
    up just magnified the desktop still more (at 250% the mouse arrow took
    up almost the whole of the creen.). I tried rebooting but it always come
    up with not displaying the full desktop.
    On rebooting I discovered that it gave me a choice of using kde Wayland
    or kde x11. If I logged in X11, everything worked. If I chose Wayland
    again, I got that absord magnification. Ie, I have not found any way of
    getting the screen to display the full desktop.with wayland-- which
    makes wayland ( the default) unuseable.

    Whenever something weird happens to me, I want to know if it is hardware
    or software related, so I boot up a live system. In the old days I wrote
    a single .iso to a USB, now I Ventoy several.

    Have you some kind of kwin running?

    If so, there are (at least) 2 kinds of that - one for X11, one for
    Wayland. So, the two graphics sessions can behave in different ways.
    It can be controlled with 'WindowsKey' + '-', until the whole desktop is visible again.
