Annoyingly, this did not happen for the first time.
Just for the files -- In the meantime I fixed the issue by
1. getting all files listed below from
https://ftp-stud.hs-esslingen.de/pub/Mirrors/Mageia/distrib/9/i586/media/ core/release
2. bruteforced install of every package like this:
rpm -i --nodeps libcairo2-1.17.6-2.mga9.i586.rpm libdri- drivers-23.1.5-2.mga9.i586.rpm libegl1-1.6.0-1.mga9.i586.rpm libfontconfig1-2.14.2-1.mga9.i586.rpm libfreetype6-2.13.0-1.mga9.i586.rpm libgl1-1.6.0-1.mga9.i586.rpm libgldispatch0-1.6.0-1.mga9.i586.rpm libharfbuzz0-7.0.1-1.mga9.i586.rpm libmesagl1-23.1.5-2.mga9.i586.rpm libpoppler-glib8-23.02.0-1.mga9.i586.rpm libsane1-1.1.1-4.mga9.i586.rpm wine32-8.0-7.mga9.i586.rpm
Now it works again.
Some ideas how to prevent mga updater from doing such weird things again?
Thanks anyway.
Best regards,
Markus

Hi all,
after today's update I can no longer start Wine32.
Something conflicts with this installation, though I have enabled the relevant 32 bit repositories.
Trying to re-install results in:

Any idea how to fix?
B.t.w., I tried to install wine64, which worked, but true Windows 3.1/95 applications cannot be executed with it.
