Have not used it yet excepting for initial setup.
I just have a weekly cron job to check for new releases.

The site gives signature files;
how can I use them? In the same way as Mageia signatures?
I would guess so.
Do they work better on the yum downloader?
They are going to work the same based on install tool.
I just use rpm to remove installed files
rpm -e --allmatches $_pubkey
rpm --import zoom.pubkey
and normal urpmi/e commands to un/install rpm.
urpmi --allow-nodeps --force $_pkg_fn
urpme --auto zoom
urpmi --allow-nodeps --force $_pkg_fn
